Emmy & Harris

I had the honor of photographing the wedding of one of the most talented, intelligent couples this past weekend in Chincoteague and I could not be more thrilled to share a glimpse into their beautiful day. I don’t know if any two people could be more perfectly matched than Emmy and Harris. They both share a mutual passion (and skill) for music, arts, and higher education, while being completely down to Earth and easy going at the same time. Their ceremony was held at Robert Reed Park and boasted not only beautiful music but an intriguing, well articulated dialogue as well. We took a few minutes to explore downtown Chincoteague afterwards for some photos and then partied the rest of the night away at the Ropewalk Chincoteague (including a visit by one of my favorites, the Mr. Whippy ice cream truck, to top off some amazing Sugarbakers cookies). I stole them away from the party for a few minutes at sunset to capture one of those sunsets only Chincoteague seems to be able to pull off, and I am soooo glad we did! A gorgeous couple with a gorgeous setting is always a good idea

From the littlest details to the biggest, I loved every minute of last Saturday and am so excited to share Emmy and Harris’ wedding.
