With all this freezing weather lately I’ve had a little spare time and thought I’d put together a quick post about 2013 and share a little bit of our “behind the scenes” shots from this past season. 2013 was a crazy year both personally and professional, but that kind of good crazy that keeps you excited for more. My husband and I took an enlightening trip to Costa Rica, celebrated our first anniversary, witnessed some of our dearest friends’ get married to the loves of their lives, and started the process of building our first home together on 4.5 acres of heaven. As for the business, I was blessed with opportunities to meet so many new amazing people, to help welcome some truly beautiful little souls into this world, and to capture some of the most heartfelt and sincere weddings I’ve ever seen. I really, truly don’t think I could have asked for anything more.
Throughout my editing I always come across a handful of images that I call “behind the scenes”. Mostly, it’s just me photo bombing my second shooters images or doing something horribly embarrassing that my assistant decided needed to be documented. I know a lot of my clients have a hard time feeling comfortable in front of a camera, so in the spirit of fairness I thought I’d dig out some of our awkward “behind the scenes” shots and share. Enjoy!
