Ashley was one of my very first clients when I decided to officially start my business, so you can imagine how excited I am to be capturing her and Derek’s wedding this upcoming June.  Ashley is such a kind hearted, sweet girl and it makes my heart melt to see how happy she is with her fiancé, Derek.  Derek is as genuinely kind hearted as Ashley is, and obviously head over heels for her.  You see, Derek didn’t just have to make Ashley fall for him.  In order to take their relationship further he had to win over the approval of the other man in Ashley’s life, her son Brody.  Luckily Brody did not only give permission for Derek to marry his mom, but has taken Derek in himself and is just about as excited as Ashley is to welcome a new member to their little family.  Ashley is an amazing mother and Derek has taken Brody in as if he were his own son, so it was only natural for Brody to be included in their engagement pictures.  I love how much love there is in this new little family; not just between Ashley and Derek, but Brody as well.  They all just radiate warmth and happiness, which made it extremely hard to narrow down the images to just a few for the blog!  Here are a handful from our time at Chincoteague’s Veteran’s Memorial Park:
