This past weekend was jammed full of family time all centered around one very exciting, long awaited event; Michele and Robert’s wedding! In my generation of cousins, Michele is one of the most loving, creative, truly family oriented ones out of the whole bunch. And let me tell you, it’s a pretty huge bunch. So when she asked me to photograph her marriage to the love of her life, Robert, I couldn’t say yes fast enough! Robert has been Michele’s rock for a large part of her life, loving and caring for her as if she were the most precious thing in his world. In a beautiful ceremony this past Saturday, on the anniversary of Michele’s own grandparent’s wedding, Michele and Robert became husband and wife. The excitement and encouragement radiating from their family and friends, paired with their own bliss, made for such a sweet, joyous ceremony and reception. I don’t think there was a negative vibe in the entire place.

I know I’m biased, but I loved every detail and thought Michele and Robert put in to making this day perfect for them; from the hand-made decor to the knot-tying ceremony and everything in between. Michele-you were made to be a stunning bride.  And Robert-welcome to the family!

Michele’s brother found this amazing car at the last minute for her to arrive in. So sweet, and perfect.

Mike caught this shot of the newlyweds after the ceremony.  It reminds me of the serenity that replaces all of the anxiety once you realize you’re finally husband and wife.
