Mountain Vintage Inspired Shoot

This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph not one but two gorgeous styled shoots at the breath taking Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane, VA. Megan from Reverie and Ramble did an amazing job pulling together all of the little details and creating something both ethereal and edgy; her organization and ability to put vision to action was the perfect balance to my creative-go-with-it side.
The dress was the real inspiration for this portion of the shoot.  It is a vintage heirloom dress from the early/mid 80’s with the most gorgeous lace detailing and delicate neckline.  Inspired by the Virginia foothills we paired it with bold turquoise accents and an undone bouquet to fully capture that mountain bride vibe.
