I met Kate and Joe a few years ago through the Emily C Specchio Foundation, a foundation that Kate’s family set up to honor the life of a beautiful soul, Emily. I know I can’t do it justice here, but if you have a minute to check it out you’ll see the most beautiful, inspiring act of selflessness and compassion, that has grown into something truly incredible.
I’ve been able to share in a few events with the family over the years and was so ecstatic when Kate asked me to share in one more, the birth of their first child Nolan. We were able to meet up at their lovely new home this past week to capture a few images of Nolan’s first days in this world. He is such a beautiful, calm boy with the most loving, compassionate parents that a child could ask for. There is so much love in this home, not just from Kate and Joe but even from Nolan’s honorary big brother, Deaner! Kate and Joe are naturals; you would never believe this is their first if they didn’t tell you. Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
